Chacco-Blue: profile of the show jumping stallion

Chacco-Blue, now deceased, is one of the most influential stallions in contemporary show jumping. Here is his profile.

Origins

A Mecklenburg studbook stallion, he is a son of Chambertin out of a Contender mare [1][2].

Career and influence

A Grand Prix horse with Alois Pollmann-Schweckhorst, it is above all in breeding that he made history: for several consecutive years (since 2017) he was the number-one jumping sire in the WBFSH rankings [1][2].

His most famous offspring

Among his offspring: Explosion W (with Ben Maher), Chaqui Z (with Shane Sweetnam) and Chacna, winners at the highest level [1].
